Robert Boncoddo: Composer/Songwriter

Robert is a singer with The Waterbury Chorale and St. Rose of Lima Church Choir.  He has recently become a member of Prestige/ASCAP   Robert has been performing for years in numerous bands as well as singing and acting on a local level.   Some of Robert's loves are painting and photography. He enjoys all aspects of the arts.

Robert Boncoddo speaks from his heart:  

"'It’s hard to imagine the world without the arts', he says.  When I compose a melody, it’s like a child being born.   You nurture it, watch it grow, play with it and then unexpected, wonderful things come up as it takes on a 'life' of its own. I love all music….as long as its done well!  Music is magnetic, it draws, it soothes, creates an emotion….music is my friend!  Music lives in my head, consciously and unconsciously 24/7.  When I’m composing it’s my emotional conscience manifesting into tonal reality.  When I sing, I like to live the part.   Deep down in my gut, I can feel the notes as they expand, and take form in song.  It gives me peace and quiets the outer world for meditation.   I can stand outside, look around, and feel inspiration all around…it’s in the air, in the sky, or simply an inspiration through conversation…  Music and art leads us all to a bond throughout the world.  Music is a universal language and music belongs to everyone…."
